RLNG prices soar again: consumers to bear the brunt

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: In yet another blow to consumers, the government has approved a hike in RLNG prices for both Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
Effective from August, the price of RLNG for SSGC has been increased by 3.20 percent, bringing it to $13.57 per unit. Meanwhile, SNGPL consumers will face a 2.97 percent increase, with the new price set at $14 per unit.
The latest price hike is expected to further burden consumers already grappling with rising inflation.
