LAHORE, Feb 21 : Pakistan's wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed has lauded the fast bowler's exceptional performance during season nine of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Amir, who has claimed two wickets in two matches for Quetta Gladiators, has earned praise from Ahmed for his impressive death bowling skills, proving to be a valuable asset for the team.

Speaking to Geo News, Sarfraz Ahmed emphasized Amir's significant impact on the team, noting his experience and exceptional bowling prowess in T20 cricket. Ahmed expressed his belief in Amir's potential return to the national team, affirming that the pacer still has much to offer.

While cautiously optimistic about Quetta Gladiators' performance in PSL 9, Ahmed acknowledged the team's early success with two consecutive wins. He highlighted the importance of maintaining the current team combination for favorable outcomes in upcoming matches.
