Senator Salim Saifullah Khan Appointed President of International Lawn Tennis Club of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, April 30: Senator Salim Saifullah Khan has assumed the prestigious role of President at the International Lawn Tennis Club of Pakistan (ILTCP). This appointment comes amidst organizational changes due to the declining health of Saeed Ahmed, the former acting President following the demise of Khawaja Saeed Hayee.
The ILTCP has officially informed the London-based International Lawn Tennis Club about Senator Salim Saifullah Khan's appointment as President of ILTCP, receiving warm congratulations for the occasion. Senator Khan has been invited to participate in the centenary celebrations of the International Lawn Tennis Club in London, an invitation which he has graciously accepted.
Senator Salim Saifullah Khan boasts an illustrious tennis career, having captained the Carnegie Mellon University tennis team and served as President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation from 2014 to 2024. Presently, he holds key positions in various tennis organizations, including Senior Vice President of International Affairs at the Pakistan Tennis Federation and a member of the ITF Junior Committee.
Additionally, Colonel (Retired) Ghulam Rahman, former Secretary of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, has been appointed as the Treasurer of the ILTCP, signifying a comprehensive restructuring of the organization under the new administration.
President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, has extended his felicitations to the new ILTCP administration, expressing his commitment to collaborate with the organization to promote international club activities in Pakistan.
