Sindh Govt Launches Pakistan's First Online Auction for Premium Number Plates

KARACHI, Oct 03: The Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department of Sindh has initiated Pakistan's first-ever online auction for premium number plates, aiming to raise funds for flood victims.
In a social media statement, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that the auction will feature premium number plates in platinum, gold, and silver categories. All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Sindh People's Housing Project to aid flood-affected families.
Memon emphasized that this initiative marks a significant step by the Sindh government in providing modern public services. He encouraged citizens to register on the website and participate in the online auction to secure special number plates while contributing to a noble cause.
Interested participants can register via the website premiumnumber.excise.gos.pk or through the Excise Department's mobile app. The auction will remain open for three days following registration.
