EV Ecosystem Development in Pakistan

This initiative aligns with Pakistan’s growing push toward electric mobility. Recently, the Ministry of Industries and Productio* signed a partnership with the *International Finance Corporation (IFC) to encourage investment in the electric two- and three-wheeler sector.

Under this cooperation, IFC will support policy and regulatory reforms, helping to address market gaps and remove barriers within the EV sector. Technical support will also be provided to agencies like the Engineering Development Board, National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority, and Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority* to facilitate the expansion of EV infrastructure nationwide.
