Sunni Ittehad Council to Stage Hunger Strike Camp Outside Punjab Assembly
Lahore: The Sunni Ittehad Council has announced plans to set up a hunger strike camp in Punjab, mirroring a similar protest at the federal level.
Opposition Leader Malik Ahmed Bhachar confirmed that the camp will be staged outside the Punjab Assembly from 3 pm to 7 pm starting tomorrow.
Bhachar stated that the symbolic hunger strike aims to protest against the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, the arrests of social media activists, and the escalating inflation. The move is intended to draw attention to these critical issues and galvanize public support.
