Punjab Government Ends Electricity Subsidy for Islamabad Users Amid IMF Pressure
ISLAMABAD, Sep11: The Punjab government has rescinded a 14-rupee per unit electricity subsidy for Islamabad consumers, following pressure from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). As a result, federal area residents will not receive this subsidy on their September utility bills. According to a notification from Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO)
