Two Policemen martyred in Attack on Judges' Convoy in Tank
DI Khan, Aug 02: Two police officers were killed in an attack on a convoy carrying judges in Tank. The convoy, which included Additional Judge Tank Hassanin, Additional Sessions Judge South, and Senior Civil Judge Mehjabeen, was targeted at the intersection of Dera Ismail Khan and Tank.
Initial reports indicate that the attack involved gunfire. The deceased officers were identified as Abdullah and Constable Samad Khan from Upper Waziristan Police. Two others were injured in the incident near Bhagwal. Police confirmed that all three judges were unharmed.
Following the attack, the bodies and injured individuals were transported to the hospital. Police have cordoned off the area, collected evidence, and launched a search for the perpetrators.
