The United States condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pakistan's Waziristan region and reiterated its stance against Afghanistan becoming a breeding ground for terrorism. Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesman for the US State Department, expressed condolences for the loss of life.

Patel emphasized the US commitment to ensuring Afghanistan never again serves as a safe haven for terrorists. He highlighted ongoing discussions with Pakistani leadership, including the recent meeting between the American Ambassador and the Pakistani Prime Minister.
