Usman Dar accuses Khawaj Asif behind police raid at his mother house
SIALKOT, Dec 19 : The recent police raid on the house of the Dar brothers in Sialkot has ignited a firestorm of controversy, with video statements from the family raising accusations of mistreatment and political intimidation. In a tearful address, Usman Dar's mother, identified as Mother Usman Dar, alleged that she was targeted in the raid due to her son's political aspirations.
Her emotional account claimed that officers entered the house and subjected her to physical abuse, tearing her clothes and injuring her neck. She further asserted that this brutality was orchestrated by a local politician, Khawaja Asif, as a tactic to deter her son from contesting upcoming elections.
"This was done to prevent me from contesting the election, but I will contest the election in any case," Mother Usman Dar declared, her voice laced with defiance. "Even if my house is demolished by bulldozers, I will fight against Khawaja Asif. Even if he is handcuffed or sent to jail, I will contest the elections in any case."
Umar Dar, another brother, echoed his mother's sentiments, expressing outrage at the alleged misbehavior towards their family. He called upon the Chief Justice for swift and impartial justice, emphasizing that such abuse cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Local authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the accusations or the purpose of the raid. Khawaja Asif, meanwhile, has denied any involvement in the incident, calling the allegations "fabrications and baseless attacks."
